I don’t know about the Mylar bags but I use whole beans, 1/2 gal canning jars, and oxygen absorbers and works well in dark place. 2 years later and still tastes fresh
I have not done anything but left in what they come in, the ground coffee is already sealed in Mylar. nd the beans should be good in the container they come in for least a year. I will use up the 20 I have before they go bad I buy date & rotate. Coffee is like top of my storage list..😵 must have
I don't repackage my coffee, it seems to stay just fine in the tubs it comes in, and even after sitting for 6 months, I couldn't have told you that if I didn't look at the date on it.
However, I also I buy two for each one I use, the first to replace what I've used, and another for stock. I find doing it this way helps stagger the expiration dates.
Also, if you need them, don't forget to stock up on the filters!

I don't know about the coffee, but I store my tea in a stainless bottle I bought them through adagio tea coupon code. They are good and easy to carry.

I hear it a lot that it's best to seal green whole coffee beans and toast them yourself before you use them. Worth it?
