I found 50# bag of Organic Whole Yellow Corn for $30.38.
I also found 50# bag of Whole Corn for animal feed for $7.12.
I know Bear and PJF both get feed corn, but $30 doesn't seem that bad.
What would you guys do? Do you still have the Nix the food grade corn?
I think it is almost as important to eliminate gmo corn from our diets as to eliminate round up.
I honestly believe that genetically modified plants are an insult to Yaw. However if this corn is set back for dark days it's much better than nothing. I have ground my horse corn, and wheat to see that I could cook with it it taste great.
I agree with Walt. The feed corn is used for last resort calories to stay alive. The idea is to not need it even in total collapse because of growing heirloom crops and raising animals. In the event of poor harvest, it is insurance and I can get a way bigger insurance policy at $7 per bag than $30 per bag.
There is only one brand I found clean enough, I have made corn bread, and grits with it. It was better than store bought for sure. That being said, I buy white organic corn from Azure Standard that is people food, that I eat day to day. GMO anything is a very bad idea.
Thanks everyone for the input. The site I did originally find was Azure Standard, but it's awesome to hear others have used this company as well.
The have all the things. Ordered Oxygen absorbers, red winter wheat, and yellow corn. They have Mylar bags too.
