Anybody on here doing any freeze drying? If so would like to know your opinion and any technical aspects of how it is working for you. Wondering how you know the food is safe after the process is complete versus canning where the jar is either sealed or not.
Need help starting to store foods, I have 5 gallon buckets with oxygen absorbers, can I just throw uncooked foods like rice in these buckets and put the oxygen absorbers in there then seal the buckets? Or do I need to do another step?
