I've never had any experience with kerosene. I've picked up my first few oil lamps and I'd like to buy a few gallons of kerosene. Looking online, I'm seeing a lot of funky storage containers for kerosene. Others just look like plastic gas cans. If it were up to me, I'd take an extra gas can and use a Sharpie to store a few gallons of kerosene. I'm looking around online and it just sounds like people don't want to pour the wrong fuel into the wrong lamp/car gas tank. Anything else wrong with storing kerosene in a red plastic gas can?
