UPDATE: We have a visual. My daughter was in the same area tonight just a little while ago and heard the same noises in the same area of the Woods putting up a fence around the garden and happened to look up and get a visual. Now we at least know there is something out there and what I heard and smelled was not my imagination. This is in Fannin County, Texas. Following after this sentence is her telling about it, typing it, in her own words.... I was standing at the last t-post I had to hammer into the ground, facing the wooded area. I had been hearing nosies like twigs snapping and leaves rustling every now and then and kept looking up. I heard it again and just happened to look up and as I looked I caught the tail end of what appeared to be the back end of a black dog. I then asked my dad if he knew where lady was. Lady being our full blooded medium sized pit bull. After he said he didn't know I brushed it off thinking I just saw her exploring. A few minutes pass and he tells me he sees her. I turn to look seeing her come from the opposite direction. I then realized it was not our dog I saw. The tail was long hanging down with the tip slanting upwards but not touching the ground, the tail was also bushy at the end. It began to walk away towards our pond to the left of me in the direction of the howling the other night.
