Chicago, one of the largest cities in the nation, a hub for transportation and one of the financial seats of the United States. Rampant violence has depleated the on-site supplies of hospitals to the point of turning away those who seek medical treatment. This is in a 5million populace city.
Some of us live in rual or at least small towns, my town is not prepared for what is coming. If Chicago is not, New York is not even after 9/11 it's not. 6,000 is a lot of people but pales in comparison to the 8,000,000 population. Appleton Wisconsin, population 70,000 Police force 172... You can see the problem. It doesn't take long to overwhelm the system when shit starts flying and eventually hits the fan.
