The balloons went up in your area, your bags are grabbed, you topped off your tank with the Jerry cans and you called ahead to let your people know you're on the move before the network went down. About 20 minutes into the trek from the backseat you hear "I gotta go to the bathroom!" Do you stop? Do you use a bucket in the way back of the Oklahoma pickup aka SUV? Pull over on the side or the road, what do you do to maintain security while on the move?
We're seeing the increased front of the left emboldened by the impeachment of our duely elected President, Donald J Trump, the media's blasting the recent Democrat Governor wins in states like Virginia. Virginia is a hot bed right now mostly due to the two bills that will further infringe upon our God given right to defend ourselves against all enemies including our Government and our Police should tyranny become the law of the land. Now, there's plenty of "chicken Littles" out there crying out that Virginia is going to turn karate class into a felony paramilitary training or that any firearms use training will fall under the paramilitary training and class 6 felony charge. That's not what the bill does. What it does is preemptively prohibits the American citizen the ability to forcefully protest against a tyrannical government, the very reason our founders established the second amendment in the first place! In the wording of the SB64 of the State of Virginia: knowing or having reason to know or intending that such training will be employed for use in, or in furtherance of, a civil disorder. You can still teach your sons and daughters to hunt, you can still teach defense, but if you had any knowledge that the training would be used for civil disorder, now it's a crime. My only advice to all of you. Stay Vigilant and keep your powder dry
If you are going to pull off, pull all the way off. Take a side road off the main drive. Lights out (assuming cover of darkness) and true SHTF has occurred, guns out and defensive perimeter. Light and sound discipline in effect. "Make it quick kiddo!"
Even go so far as to remove the inside light bulbs or at least cover with tape. Assuming it is going to be black out there you wouldn't want to advertise with a dome light coming on.
Me? I'd tell them to cross their legs, lol. No seriously, I think it would depend on the external situation. If it is a situation where you need to move fast, as in be there yesterday, then yes, a coffee can can be a life saver. If it's a thing where their bowels have turned to water....like I said, it would depend on the situation. I have always been one for the long distance drive with little to no stopping. It's going to be a learned thing for this. Go before you hit the road, even if you don't have to. Do it anyways. No drinks as you're traveling. You probably will want as many miles between your home and where you're heading as possible. Going to have to be second nature or use a can.
My thoughts are similar. No one leaves the vehicle alone not even the ex spec ops guy. The vehicle is never left alone. As a kid my mother had a rule, bathrooms don't exist until the car needed gas. We always had a full tank of gas when we left. I'm now a professional driver, aka trucker, my bladder holds 1 liter and doesn't need to drain for 400 to 500 miles sorry if that's TMI. My kids are up to 200 miles my youngest is 5 years old, she's a trooper
