The book of Revelation says that when Christ went up to heaven his father pronounced him King over both the heavens and the Earth. Jesus then proceeded to expel all rebel angels (demons)(those who refused to follow the commandments of the designer, creator and giver of life) and these demons were sent down to Earth to await destruction and they are said to have a sole purpose, that of getting every man woman and child to sin just enough to disqualify them from entering the Kingdom of God that these demons were just expelled from. Christ and his armies now await Gods trumpet to signal the hour of cleansing the Earth as well.
These expelled rebel angels (demons) don't need you to kill, rape, steal or any of that stuff to achieve their goal, they just need you to embrace a culture of sin and perversion, or go through some difficult trial that will break your faith, or get you to prosper in life to the point where God becomes an afterthought and possibly a nuisance with all of his commandments. We know that Christ himself called Satan the ruler of this world for a reason. Christ also instructed his followers to flee to the mountains when they saw this evil surround them.
Keep working on your plans to leave these demonic cities and get your families to someplace where they can grow strong in both faith and character. I fear folks here leaving good places of worship only to wither away spiritually in the woods. Be realistic about your kids spiritual gains and be on the look out for any signs of spiritual fatigue. Deuteronomy 6 says that we are to instruct our children about God in every activity we do together and the best time to do just that is now, every now.
