I don't post a lot and have already posted one here earlier today. But then I ran across this post and thought it was a simple way for those beginning to put together a security plan and useful for those who already have a plan to evaluate or update that plan. This plan is not meant to be exhaustive and there is much more to consider when putting together a security plan, S2, training, fitness, comms etc but this is a start.
And anyone who brings up the Rhodesian's farmer's experiences/tactics while defending their homes against the ANC (African National Congress) and other Marxist groups will immediately catch my attention. I have brought up and have discussed tactics used by both the Rhodesians and the Marxists with other groups in my area.
I believe that their experience will be very close to what rural Americans will encounter in the future. With the exception of the unknown equation of who will law enforcement (if it is operable) back in that scenario. The answer to that question will be determined I believe upon location and how local PD, Sheriffs, etc. have become politicized. Generally speaking, I believe most will be on there own and plan accordingly for no emergency service response...WROL.
A worthwhile read including the ebook "The Farmer at war"
