It's funny, while thinking about this subject it became clear that there is a strong dislike for the words that refer me, myself, and I. Though this just happens to be my very own opinion on what makes me feel willing to follow someone and put that person in a leadership role. However this isn't about me, it's about you. We're starting to reach out to each other to form a team for whatever reason we can come up with. Each person we meet will have different backgrounds, different opinions and even different agendas but hopefully we're all trying to achieve the same goal, the same objective through the completion of smaller missions.
So here you are waiting for someone to show up because we all know being early is on time and on time is late right? Right.
And you see some person you've never met. Their demeanor is strong, confident almost showing no worries, fear, absolutely no stress of walking in to meet a person they've never met before. A situation where anything could go sideways and they walk in... After the customary introduction the first thing the person wants to know is about YOU! So to get back to the question "what makes a good leader?" Is a loaded question, so many factors play out. What type of person can you seriously say to yourself, there is one I'd follow into hell because together we'll make out alive. And hell could be spending 18 hours in a Hay field in an Georgia August.
Looking forward to hearing your answers!
