Don't know if it is "the virus" but this is my second day of something not good. Fever, no appetite, body aches, pain in my liver, kidneys, stomach and my chest hurts. I'm mid sixties and I'm on no meds Not ready to go to a doctor, I would much rather have your prayers. Keep me in mind. David

Praying! Vit C, Vit D and Zinc are a great boost to tea any virus. Elderberry tincture/syrup is great for respiratory symptoms. Be sure to keep an eye on those o2 stats.
You have my prayers and what Renee said. Start with 2500 mg of vitamin C, just regular vitamin C tabs and chew them, a zinc tab daily for 3 days, a multi vitamin and I would add in a turmeric for the inflammation. Vicks vapo-rub and a humidifier, especially at night. Steam vaporizer not a cool mist one. The D vitamin is a D3, but be very judicious with that. Fat soluble vitamin and can build toxic levels if taking too much or too long.
Chicken bone broth, ginger and lemon tea. Not ginger ale, too cloying and will make the mucus worse.
I hope you have someone who can help you even if it's just going out and getting what you need. Force yourself to drink, even if it's only water. You need to keep the mucus liquid and not get thick. Watch your finger nails...if they start getting more white or get a little blueish around the edges, you call an ambulance. Immediately. You should be able to ride this out, but it's not going to be fun. Hang in there and keep us up to date please.
I also agree with the Vitamin C, Vitamin D and Zinc suggestion. It's been proven by a Virologist who has had his video removed from Facebook weeks ago. Now, you might think I'm crazy, but Vicks Vapor Rub on your feet with socks on before you sleep has some great effects as well. Not kidding. I haven't had the Flu in over 40 years and never get the Flu shot but when feeling bad, a few nights of Vick's on the feet with Vitamins and my symptoms go away. I might add that I have chronic asthma as well and take meds to control it. If you have shortness of breath or get lightheaded just walking around the house, Something is not right. If you do have the Flu, it will come back as Covid after a test from what my research shows.
Hope all goes well.
Thanks crew, I'm on the vitamin and zinc. Tried to get some broth down but still not feeling like food. I also noticed that I don't smell the Vicks Vapor rub. I've lost my sense of smell. I don't feel like its getting worse and if this is all there is to it, I got this and don't need a doctor.
That tick fever a few years back was way worse.
Keep putting the fluids into yourself, whether you want to or not. that is the bigest trick. Look, the end of last Dec and beginning of Jan 2020, I spent a night with my back up against the wall, wondering if I was going to live long enough to see the sun come up in the morning. Just do it. The sense of smell will come back. Zinc will take out your sense of smell. You just do the things posted up here. I am in my mid 60s as well. I made it through. Vicks is a big thing. Seriously, slather your chest and any where it hurts on the body. Chest, kidneys, liver. Doesn't matter. The eucalyptus and the other ingredients in the Vicks, draws the blood to the areas. That's a good thing. Trust, prayers are winging their way, do...if you don't help yourself then so sorry, Charlie. You will get through this and have immunity.
How you doin?
i'll pray for you covid can be fairly nasty if you do in fact get it
YeeeeHaaaa! I'm up and moving again. No soreness or fever. I got up and just ate half a pizza for breakfast. First food since last Sunday.
Hey folks, covid wasn't any worse than the plain ole ordinary flu, so don't let this shit scare you if you're in decent shape and over 60. My sense of smell is still missing but I'm assured it will come back.
Thank you all for the advice and prayers. I followed the recommendations offered and I will teach other patients the same.
Now its time to get back on my cabin build and catch up on my honey do list. Carry on.
Good to hear, breakfast of champions 😆😆😆
