I'd happily move to Sullivan Co or somewhere more rural but unfortunately my wife still works in Boston so we need to be "close" for her to get into the city.
With my church I participate in the men's group and there's a half dozen of us that keep our ears to the ground and are "getting ready" for what? Only God knows, but when it is time we all agree we'd rather have spent some time before setting stuff aside for rainy days.
still stuck in mass but have family and ways to get away in NH. But NH is slowly becoming just like mass do to all the liberal transplants migrating that way hopefully it will stop
NH also has the best ratio of citizens to representatives in the nation at the state level (less than 3500 people per rep). So it really is important that we call them pretty much weekly. Luckily all my reps are Rs but they aren't perfect looking at their voting histories before I came back to the Granite state.
I'm in Haverhill Massachusetts. Had a small 3 man group of like minded individuals with different skill sets but people slowly backed out due to their unsupportive significant others or other speed bumps in the road. I don't have a problem with the lone Wolf concept but know chances of survival are much less. I'd love to meet up with people in this area who are serious about preparation for any catastrophic event. Please reach out to me on this subject 🙏
I agree with you Jay Dee. Given the current liberal mentality we have in the north east, like minded individuals are few and far between. We may not be much good to one another during a moment of crisis, but that's not a reason to not make an effort to get together once a month to plan, teach, train and prep for potential crisis. Eventually we will meet people who are close enough for a true MAG and tribe.
"Live in coastal, Bristol County, MA on our 120 acre family homestead/farm. Although a lot of the farm infrastructure is gone now. Small machine shop, licensed gunsmith, field surveyor and outdoorsman. Been stockpiling food, medical, library, and all the "stuff". Looking for people now."
@colemanhill My husband and I live in coastal Plymouth county. We could keep in touch here and possibly meet up after this COVID 19 thing is over.
Also, for all of you NH peeps, my husband and I are both originally from NH and still have family in NH. My husband works part-time in Carroll County NH and we plan on moving to that area in a few years.
approximately where are you in northeast n.h.? question is to private info or anyone in northern n.h ooops , just read your comment, privateinfo, about being in mass. i'm in coos county n.h. originally from Middlesex county, ma.
I believe there are more of us and that we just keep to ourselves, living in this state with all these liberals and liberal leaders and the agenda and laws they push we are all sitting targets ,
everyone should follow Guns and gadgets on YouTube and instagram he is a LEO one of the good guys who is on our side
So there are 7 people on here who live within 2 hrs of Southern NH. (I'm probably the farthest @ 2 hours from Manchester, NH) Guns and Gadgets isn't LEO. He's a house of corrections officer and what good does following him on YT do? He doesn't reveal anything we don't already know. The blue states are Anti-gun with anti gun laws. Bloomberg is anti-gun with lots of $$. This is my surprised face :-|
What are you going to do with that info to make a difference in your life? Do you personally know him? Do you train and war game ideas back and forth with him? You're sitting targets because, gasp, you're sitting, pineing at your keyboard. Does anybody on here actually plan meetups or is it all a wet dream?
i have not been on here much lately, going through some hardships. If we are within 3 hrs. of a meet up we should go. I went to 1 In maine Sunday. Almost a 3 hr. ride. I did not see any of you folks there. i sincerely apologize for lack of contact but as i said before , %@#*& happens when you least expect it. I said in earlier post I am planning on putting on a meet & greet. I should have said -I "want" to put on a meet & greet. Still do!!! I'm typing on a cell phone. I have minimal internet skills. I live rural. 4 people per square mile, in coos county n.h. If I manage to get some assistance with posting I will be holding meet & greet up here. I'm very determined to hold one," NEED ASSISTANCE WITH INTERNET"
I know the meetup you're talking about. It was posted on PJF's patreon but 3.5 hours from me. Had it not been winter, I might have made an effort but wasn't sure what kind of snow conditions if any I'd hit.
hello mike, yeah, 8hrs. is way to long. It took me about 2&1/2 hrs. and that was to long . we all are looking for people closeup. but location is very important. I went to gardiner Maine meetup 2-1/2 hrs. like I said, but not expecting to form tribe from it. maybe I would have gotten lucky, and someone there would have lived closer to my turf. didn't work out. I am still going to do a meetup around here where I am but I need assistance. I have plenty of time & determination, but unfortunately not good on internet. I have a couple of good ideas for the meetup & it's advertisement. even if unable to form tribe, it is still important to find peeps and practice THE THINGS. God bless & hope to "see you out there"
@Warren It's still a benefit that you did go, and try to go as often as possible even though inconvenient. May not find tribe, but maybe a welcoming MAG. Especially if heaven forbid you have to bug out of your current location. Anybody who is close enough to be part of your crew and tribe, will probably also be under the same hardships and therefore untenable situation. Having an alternate bug out location outside the sphere of negative influence with cached stores with other friendlies nearby is a great benefit and insurance.
In the process hopefully there are skills and ideas to be learned if nothing else and not just a bunch of people gathering around for coffee.
@colemanhill that's all true , but unfortunately VERY time consuming. tough enough to put together a local band of yahoos. I suppose once that's done it will be easier to hook up with other band of yahoos. plz. excuse the vernacular and penmanship. Long bumpy road, minimal schooling. I'd be happy with just a handful of peeps just to practice some basic shtuff with. foraging edibles/medicinals- camp setup takedown couple days later, gardening, little target practice, 1st aid..........sitting idle is very frustrating 😣😲😖😴😯😪
Warren, Thank you for the words of encouregment , true a mag further away is a good idea if we ever need to get out. Please keep me informed of meet up , I would make a 31/2 - 5 hr drive for one. we are basicly 2/12 hr from everything so tacking on a couple is really no big deal. God bless
There are people around NH On the forum.
I'm in southern nh .
I am in New Hampshire (Sullivan Country)
Rockingham County NH here.

I live in Southern NH near Portsmouth. Been storing and doing the things for a few months now. It’s a big whale but one bite at a time.
approximately where are you in northeast n.h.? question is to private info or anyone in northern n.h ooops , just read your comment, privateinfo, about being in mass. i'm in coos county n.h. originally from Middlesex county, ma.
I am in Southern NH as well. I am west of Portsmouth and East of Manchester. We should consider forming a MAG
I believe there are more of us and that we just keep to ourselves, living in this state with all these liberals and liberal leaders and the agenda and laws they push we are all sitting targets ,

colemanhill, where approximately are you located? 2 hrs. "north" ? of Manchester?
@Warren I live 2 hours south of Manchester without traffic.
@colemanhill I was raised in Burlington, I live in northern n.h now.

General question. Since we got people from all corners of NE here, anybody with HAM radio experience or know someone who does?
