Date: Saturday, January 25. 2020
Time: 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Location: Germantown Public Library - Small Community Room
Address: N112 W16957 Mequon Road, Germantown, Wisconsin, 53022
The Small Community Room has been reserved under the group name of ‘Camping Club’.
The class is free to attend and will run about 1 hour.
The class will discuss the simple methods for the purification of water in the setting of backpacking, camping and survival.
We will discuss purification using methods that include: boiling, chemical treatment of water, multiple water filter options, and the construction of your own at home water filter system.
Attendees are welcome, and encouraged, to bring their own knowledge and examples they would like to share as well.
This event will also provide an opportunity to meet and greet others with similar interests. The room has been reserved until 3:45 pm to allow time for open discussion following the class.
Information as to a follow up class in February 2020 will be announced during this class, and later at this forum.
If you have any questions let me know on this forum, I will check it periodically over the coming weeks.
Hope to see you there.
