I’m considering building another greenhouse to supplement my hoop house fashioned after the “Greenhouse in the Snow” in Alliance, Nebraska. Outdoor gardens on the plains of Colorado are risky at best and with everything going on, I’d like a year round greenhouse that I can depend on. Claims are that the Greenhouse in the Snow only costs about 80 cents a day to heat and remains warm enough for citrus trees to grow year round and produce fruit. If anyone on this site has visited or has experience with a similar style of greenhouse, I would appreciate your insights. My thinking is that year round produce might soon become good bartering items.
