What's your favorite gardening or general purpose earth moving hand tool?
I'll start... I've used shovels, rakes, hoe's, etc since I was a young child (Over 30 years) so I did not expect to find a new one that I liked more... last year at work my boss handed me a "2-in-1 bow rake" and had me pull the gravel that had been pushed into the lawn during winter plowing back into the driveway. I loved it so much I bought one that same week. It's great for pulling gravel out of grass obviously, but also good for various types of dirt work. With the 2-in-1 bow rake you can use it to hoe up rows much faster than with a hoe, you could even use it to put grooves in wide rows so you know where to plant the seeds if you want to keep them in relatively even rows. I thought about it recently while pulling leaves and sticks out of a shallow drainage ditch to let the water run off my flooded garden area that is being added back into production this year (pictures attached.) There are many other uses as well. I got mine at Home Depot; pictures attached including the barcode to make it easier to look up.
