I am building primary and backup ifac's. Those are coming along swimmingly. A few pricey tourniquets, another set of occlusive dressings and some hemostatic gauze and they will be high and tight. The conundrum is the overflow/wilderness/booboo kit. One bag didn't fit right. Went to a better bag and now things are really out of control. Rolled gauze, flat pack gauze. Compression bandages, tape of a few types. One really big abd pad and multiple pads from 8x10 down to 2x2. 2 Splints and adhesive bandages, stretch wraps. A pocket full of wipes and towelettes. Scissors, tweezers, chem lights, gloves and a decent boo boo kit, with hydration salts. A small bottle of betadine and a tube of tripple antibiotic. Three triangle bandages. Even a big Russian surplus emergency blanket.
How the hell do I pare it down to the size to fit in a three day pack??? Where do I cut back on the duplicates? I need to get the roll down to half it's size.
