Hi everyone, my name is Colton and I am rather new to prepping. I began to create my first bug out bag in October of 2019, and have been committing to preparedness ever since. I will be taking my first basic skills survival course in June put on by the Thomas Coyne Survival School out here in California where I am looking forward to learning how to build a fire, shelter, and other things to increase my odds of surviving. I am also very new to the Bear Independent channel on YouTube and this website, and I am very thankful for his work and for this new found community. Now, more than ever, we need people who care about their fellow man and who do not deceive us in order to push an agenda.
I am a chiropractor by profession, and still relatively new to it as well. I graduated in December 2017, and since then have been trying to come up with a plan to move out of California for many reasons, but mostly for tax purposes and political ideological viewpoints (I'm relatively moderate, but CA is becoming too liberal for my taste). California is beautiful, but grossly expensive and over populated so it's time to leave. Any advice and input on how to execute my plan is much appreciated. Life is like a game of Chess, and I don't know how to play Chess!
Thank you everyone,
