Hello, always had the prepping mindset, but never really dove into it until this past year. I've been a subscriber of the Survivalist forums blog page until it shut down, and saved many files for prepping and such. In daily life I always like to be prepared for anything. My truck is capable of most all things in terms of gear/tools I carry with me all the time. I am very conscious of my location, and how to get to where I need to be. About a year ago i decided to take a bigger part in prepping. I re-met an old friend from 8 years ago that got me going into prepping good. Since then I have built a nice get home bag, boo-boo kit, and major trauma (IFAK) for my vehicle, stockpiled medical supplies and food. I have also obtained my Technician's license for HAM radio and have a mobile setup in the truck as well as a handheld. I stumbled across Bear on one of his contribution videos to Survival Dispatch, and gave his channel a look. The content and approach of Bear is very good and informational. Currently wrapping up his prepper classroom series. Moving forward, I will continue to improve my preps/plans. I am open to the idea of getting involved in a MAG, but do not know where to start. My old buddy mentioned above^ approached me with this idea as well. Locally there is not proficient participants (according to him I'm the first to show interest in 10 years of looking). NW Ohio is the location, and I am sure I will find helpful material on this forum.
