We are new to this type of community though, I have been homesteading and basic prepping for about 10 years. Looking to connect with others in our area and to share information as things unfold from here.
I have been gardening for a minute (I would say I am intermediate bordering on advanced and always learning!). I would be glad to answer questions about gardening, especially for this climate. I also have experience with chickens, ducks, geese and goats.
HI! I'm new here too. Gardening is fun once you get it down. And you're right you are forever learning. In Oregon there is a short growing season. But I have my eggshells and trays ready for my seedlings and the garlic and onions are planted inside.

Central Maine here. Recently started prepping (last year) wishing we had started sooner. Currently have ducks!
Just seeing this! Hello!
Also here in central maine! My husband and I have always been prepper-minded, but this year we are putting in another garden... just to be safe! I'm also looking foward to getting some hens.
When do you start your tomato seeds??? I think we are a little late as ours are only an inch high now but not sure.
I started mine the end of March and just potted them up. I have started them as late as mid April though with no problems!
