If anyone is looking for a great bug-out or permanent home that is off the beaten path...I have something for you! My sister is down-sizing and is putting her home up for sale. 3 bedroom and a good sized loft, full seat shower bath, wood furnace/hot air, propane monitor heater and another metalbestos hook-up for a wood stove. 425' drilled well, way down into the aquifer. 0ver 5 acres of mostly wooded land [yes, your own firewood] a stream that runs through the back of the property. Generator plug hook up on outside of house, roofed porch on the front and a raised deck on the back to survey your kingdom. Established herb gardens, insulated chicken house, privacy....Sorry, no pictures yet, to follow. This home isn't listed with a realtor as of yet, figured give you guys first dibs. Lots of other cool things with the house, on demand hot water, quick hook up for a pitcher pump built into the kitchen counter, a solar system would be awesome here because of the placement of the house. Electricity and propane for monitor heater and cooking. Partial walk-in cellar. Now the best...there are deer, moose and some fishing in the stream. Because of the way the house is situated, massive solar heating in the winter! To be honest...if I didn't already own my own little piece of the good life, I would be going for this. There is room for gardens and the soil is rich as it hasn't been farmed. If anyone is interested, you can private message me on here and hopefully by then, I will have pictures and not just words. The home is in Mercer, Maine. You'd be close enough to shopping areas, without being in public eyes...Seriously, as in don't blink.

@Haunted55 Very tempting, but I don't think I can convince my wife to move to Maine from a warm place. 🙃
Sounds like something I’ve been looking for. Still available? Price?
It is and hasn't gone up with a realtor yet. She is looking for 90,000.00
